The spirit of the Giants of Music has hovered over Montreux for decades. Join us for an event where athletic effort meets the electrifying sounds and rhythms of artists stationed all along the course.
The race kicks off in front of Freddie Mercury’s statue — for the most rock’n’roll trail in all of Switzerland and beyond. A unique twilight experience to discover the “mountain side” of the Pearl of the Riviera. Whether you’re looking to dive into the world of trail running, blow off some steam, or simply have fun with friends, Freddie’s Night is made for you.
Bring your costumes, your mustaches — Freddie is waiting for you for a wild night that will carry on to Montreux’s Market Square for a rock’n’roll finish.

Three and a half hour of race time
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Water supply (0.5 litre minimum), personal cup, mobile phone working in Switzerland activated, survival blanket.
RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
Headlamp with spare batteries (if more than 2 hours of running), Waterproof jacket with hood (10'000 mm/h) depending on the weather.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Participants will be able to leave their personal belongings at the start in Montreux on Saturday evening, and pick them up on arrival at the finish (same place)
The organizer declines any responsibility in case of loss, damage or theft of any valuable item
CAR PARK & TRANSPORTATION
Most underground parking places in Montreux (www.cartoriviera.ch/parkings/) propose a reduced fee from 7pm onward. There are also a few hundreds meters away from the Place du Marché free parking places overnight.
For those who can, consider car-sharing or public transportation. That is the Trail Runner Way!
DIFFICULTY
★(★) the 15km course already has the characteristics of a real trail, with some changes in altitude, some technical sections but not too many and even some steps - in short, the perfect combination for beginners.
