A full dose of the Vaud Alps
100KM AND 6’800M+
An exceptional race calls for an exceptional landscape: after setting off from Bex, the route will quickly put your legs to the test, climbing from 500m to 2500m to face the Muverans and their touch of Mordor, before plunging into the stunning region of Pont-de-Nant, Bovonne, and Solalex.

After this first section—sure to leave no one indifferent—it’s time to head toward the Col de la Croix to catch up with the final runners of Crossing Switzerland. Then, around a bend, the magnificent Lac des Chavonnes appears, just before the descent to the charming villages of La Forclaz and Le Sépey.
Leysin, with its majestic towers of Mayen and Aï, will be reached after another dose of elevation gain. The descent that follows is slightly technical, leading to the hamlet of Luan, which opens the way to the Malatraix ridgeline and its unmatched panorama over Lake Geneva.

Before tasting the joy of the finish line, the climb toward the Rochers de Naye and the 1,600m descent through the wild Chauderon Gorge will leave no participant unmoved. Just a few more steps through Montreux’s old town and along its lakeside promenade, and you’ll arrive at the historic finish site of the Montreux Trail Festival: the Market Square and the statue of Freddie Mercury.

MAGICAL, you say? We say MAJESTIC. Now it’s your turn!
